Your Canadian Internet Service Provider (ISP) likely promised you some pretty past speeds when you signed up. Here’s a list of some companies Internet Speed Test websites. NOTE that you should not only use these websites to test your speed but these results are a good reference. You should also check out the websites listed in our Other Internet Speed Test section.

Also note that your connection speeds might be suffering due to to many users with a cable set up. DSL users might also be located to far away from the main connection station so “super” high speeds might not actually be possible.

Make sure you are not running any other programs when you test your internet connection speed.

Shaw Internet Speed Test
